hey, long time fan here. I been working on creating a real-time re-imagining of Roguesurvivor. Hoping to bring over the NPC interaction of the original game. Haven't gotten too far ( link), but would like to hear some ideas for bringing the experience over, without using every single key on the keyboard. Should be fully compatible with gamepads

pictures of the current build: you can open doors by bumping into them, even move to multiple maps - they all look the same thought. The inventory is up and running with reloadable guns and green pills. but dropping items take some finesse, have to be holding down 'f' while simultaneously moving away. It's a bit easier to pull of with a gamepad. Green pills have 'space' as a hotkey, allowing you to recover stamina between shotgun blasts. ps. Hopefully Roguedjack is alright with me shamelessly using his art.

Roguedjack is dead, he doesn't give a crap.
Also please allow infinite reincarnations.

Implemented basic reincarnate, not infinite, but as long as there are civilians available to posses in the active sector: have also switched the graphics to OpenGL, allow for way cheaper alpha channels: The 32bit version doesn't run on my machine, so now we are going 64bit link

I don't know if you are still around guy, but it's a technically solid implementation. Movement is too slow, or zombies are too fast. Still, I'm impressed. I like this. I have work to do to catch up and pass you >;]

Can you also add an option for us to have a turn based game too, please? I like strategy and I'm a slow thinker, always taking minutes calculating my next move before I even push a button.
I know this can be done, since there are quite a lot of games that allow for it.
