aaron i found a few things posted up on the RS blogspot, should provide you some insight on how to mod this stuff RS blog modding infofound this down in the comments right after where you asked how to mod Go to where you install Rogue Survivor, look for Resources, within that folder open Data. The files in there can be modded using various text editors.

What does it mean by "Where you install Rogue Survivor?" I checked out the Rogue Survivor folder thing in the start menu, but there is no Resources folder.

The default installation path is "C:/Program Files/Rogue Survivor Alpha 4.3", so your "Resources" should be there. In the "start menu" you don't have a real program folder, you see only a folder for shortcuts there. I don't have search on this computer's start menu. Right-click on the Taskbar, select Properties, go to "Start Menu" bar, click on "customize" and switch the "Search" on.

aah ok Deon, so then for using a mod that someone else has made, such as your Genisis mod, you just take the mod files and replace the corresponding in the program file?

Errr... Should I be worried? If I try going on a file I've modded, it says "SYLK: file format is not valid" and the place where the files were is now all gray. I've tried playing the game, and it works with my modded stats, but now I can't remod stuff.

im not certain how it all works aaron, but that doesnt sound good. worst case you will just have to un-install RS then re-install to put back to normal, so all in all not that bad

Make an backup folder with the original files BEFORE you change ANYTHING. Or else you will have to download the no-installer version when you screwed something up.
To open the files just use Open-Office Calculator or just a simple text editor(notepad etc.) to edit the files. The only problem i have with Open-Office Calc is that when i change and save the Skills.cvs and Items_Food.csv the game gets an format error.
