Hey Deon, you should take a look at Goblin Camp. A really nifty graphics engine has just been implemented and is being constantly improved upon. All it really needs is one good sprite artist (you!) to release a fantastic tileset rather than the rather messy hodge-podge we've got now. Edit: Ignore this message. Turns out you are working on a GC tileset. Hooray!

Yeah, I actually recommended GC to him a few weeks ago, but he's too busy to work on his tileset right now.

hey there! really enjoying your mod, even though i find it much more difficult than vanilla...maybe it has something to do with the stronger zombies killing all the people around, who can't use the firearms efficiently Just a lil' problem. Have you tested the changes to the medicines? You claim in your second post that they have some negative effects too (loss of stamina, health... depending on the kind). But i just seem to get the positive effects and not the negative ones at all. How's that?

Oh and also, is it WAD that i can't see the health bar of the barricades anymore? it seems impossible to understand how many times i've barricaded a window, or how much damage did it take. i still see the healthbar of fences, doors etc.

Second reason for joining this forum was to thank Deon for his awesome skills. Can't wait to try out your waste lands mod for DF!

Just downloaded your mod and have been having fun with it. I like the idea of medkits not being an instant-healing item. I also had myself an adventure to the top floor of the hospital. And a fun adventure afterward.

A problem: "minus" values do not work in the game . Yeah I've noticed it but didn't change it after that. I will probably release a rebalance patch later (which will make it harder ). Roguedjack didn't answer my email about that, he's probably too busy right now. The "no health on barricades" is a problem of my sprite, however can't you hover your mouse over it to check the strength? I don't remember already . voltagehero: ... Did you start a small district with MAX civillians?

And here it is, Deonapocalypse 1.2! - I've defined a thin outline around each sprite, so they are now have a better contrast. - I revised medical items (sadly -values do not work, so the idea is scrapped). - I've added new crate graphics. - I've changed weapon stats a bit (only makeshift weapons stack, crowbars do not stack and have a bit better stats). - I've improved the martial arts skill (10% chance to disarm/level, up to 50%; 5%/level was not worth it in my opinion, this skill is usually used by nobody so it deserved an upgrade).

Hey Deon, haven't played RS for a while, may start playing soon, haven't seen crates yet. Can I see what yours look like? And see how warehouses look?

Hey, I seem to be having a bit of visual trouble when it comes to your mod. I'm at 1024x768 resolution and using the GDI+ video rendering option in RSConfig. However, whenever I install your mod, many of the sprites seem to be too big and are larger than each "square" that they reside on (one example that I can think of off the top of my head are the inventory slots overlapping onto each other and the window sprite overlapping onto walls). Vanilla RS has no such problems, and previous versions of this mod installed and played just fine Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: Upon further testing, it appears as if this problem only occurs when the sprites are in my FOV. Attachments:

Of course, ALL sprites are too big for it. GDI+ is bugged. Launch RSConfig.exe and set video mode to "Managed DirectX". Hey Deon, haven't played RS for a while, may start playing soon, haven't seen crates yet. Can I see what yours look like? And see how warehouses look? Warehouses use iron doors (like in PD) and stone walls. Just crate sprites are new. And there's nothing spectacular . I personally hoped warehouses would have more loot.

I think, if possible, you should make it so that the crossbow makes no noise from firing, or at least make the radius of sound it generates so small that it is hardly a concern.
