This is a quick play-through, set on Vintage. The length of this story is unknown to me at the moment, obviously. Feel free to read the story, as I add more to it.
I woke up, and glanced around the station. I must have fallen asleep waiting for my friends to get here. They must have never shown up, or I guess didn't notice me. The officer that was patrolling the station was still here. I spoke up, spooking him and promoting him to spin around and aim his shotgun at me. "Sir, where is everybody else? Shouldn't there b-" he held his hand up to stop me, and spoke. "Some kind of outbreak. We have it under control." I walked towards the doors, but he stopped me. "It's not under..complete..control." I stepped away from the door, the same time as a gun sounded. The man cringed and walked outside, without speaking. I followed him out, and looked around. Destroyed cars and fires were everywhere. He turned to me and nodded. "I can't take you to it, but you need to head to the police station. We have been taking survivors in there. They might have enough supplies to give you a gun too. Oh, yea, I am Reeves. Georges Reeves." I opened my mouth to respond, but he had already ran off. I decided to take his advice, and find out what was going on. I would need to look around the block first. I found a gun store, which upon entry, I noticed was already being looted. I decided because half the guns were already gone, to take myself a rifle and some ammo. The police station was a few blocks over. If this was as bad as it seemed, it might not be too safe going around the police station...yet. I decided to go find some food, and a place to bunker down. As I exited the store, a bloodied woman walked towards me. Her left side of her face was gone, exposing her teeth. I stumbled and ran. I entered the house that the woman was breaking into. I stepped inside, trying to confront my fears. The bloodied woman was trying to bite another woman, who was barely holding the attacking woman off. The woman screamed for help, and, confused and worried, I shot the bloodied woman. I don't know how many shots I fired in the woman. It was enough to drop her to the ground. I was a murderer. I started to talk to the other woman. She told me more about this so called "outbreak". Last night people started attacking others, biting them, and clawing them. The people would not respond to verbal contact, and shots to the chest and legs would only slow them down, unless the shots were numerous. The news had gone down that same night, she said, but that some of the stations had called these people "zombies", from the movies and such. The woman glanced around and thanked me for the help, but said she had to go, and wished me luck. I walked into the other room, to find food scattered about, as if it had been knocked over in a rush. I took some food from the fridge and ate, hungry enough not to care. I reloaded my rifle and went west. I found more ammo for my rifle, and a hunting vest. I took both, not knowing if the vest would help me out, or just prove to be extra weight.
