Currently I am at 123% survivor difficulty and at 106% for undead, but I think I am gonna try to raise it too the highest I can get for both and try it xD
What Difficulty do you guys play at?
I just tried my first game with 589% for survivor and 0% for undead. It is hard.

I generally just play at 100% for whatever I am choosing to do. Set the city and district sizes to the highest possible then adjust the civilians and zombies accordingly.

I play 126% on survivor, biggest city and district with 200 or 180 max zombies, i prefer 180 so i don't lag too much and i leave it to 25 survivors so its hard to find survivors and i leave zombie growth to default, then i have epic games that last for awhile and city ends up chaotic like hell.

After messing around with the settings, I found that 408% is pretty good. I set it so it starts with a low amount of zombies, but grows fast. There is also max survivors. Some of the few first days, cops and gangsters kill most, if not all of the zombies. After about day 5, it gets hard, people start starving and disciples start appearing. It gives you a easy start but then it rams up the difficultly. Hmm The idea of an online leaderboard....

I play on default settings. I have hard enough time surviving as it is. I haven't dropped anything yet but if my current bad luck holds out I might. I always seem to starve than get whacked by a geek.

I like to up the district size, decrease the total districts, up the sim to FULL and turn off evolution.

I like big districts with medium evolution and a lot of undead (and permadeath) which means around 200% for survivors.

I play with permadeath on, district size (and number of districts) at max, simulation at full, and combat assistant on (can't be arsed to do the calculations in my head). Recently I've doubled the number of civilians to go along with the doubled district size to see if I can get some more life into the game world, and will probably increase the number of zombies as well so the initial increased number of civilians will have more trouble dealing with them. The difficulty percentage for my current settings is 243%.
Edit: Might be worth trying a game with max-size districts, but only 3x or 4x city size. You'd be exploring a larger potion of the city each game and if some district is particularly dangerous, you might be forced to deal with the dangers sooner rather than later instead of doing your looting elsewhere.

Alpha 6, i think my settings are hardcore idk but i'm having a hard time surviving, maybe i should really use scent cover in this version because army of zombies are everywhere. 60 civilians, 200 max zombies, evolution on.

I'm playing with 273% difficulty. District size and city size at max. 40 civilians, 180 zombies, starved zombification at 80%. Day 0 undeads 15%, but daily increase at 20% Dropped the National guard to 40% and supply drops to 10%.
Its pretty chaotic after the first week. Its hell after 1 month.
