What if, after unlocking all achievements, and after revealing the story, you could "win" the game through various questionable means--multiple endings?
For example, you could go far underground beneath a CHAR facility and find a nuclear bomb terminal that will destroy the entire surface city--killing all survivors along with the zombies.
Or you could find out that every place around the world has suffered the same fate, and so you decide to end your life while still human.
Or you could lock a secure metal gate that will keep all zombies out, but knowing you will eventually die when you run out of food.
Or you could find out that zombies are still alive--and curable--and that you've killed many people who could have been saved. Maybe true help finally arrives, but only after you've got blood on your hands, asking yourself who is the monster. (The "I am Legend" ending.)
It would be hard to keep these endings secret, but it would provide great drama for those players who experience the game for themselves from start to finish without consulting FAQs. And even those cheating players may never reach even one of the multiple endings--they'd still get to experience the story of their character.
