I'm not quite accustomed to how the music system works. You have the mp3 file and then you have the ogg file. Just from observation, if I took an mp3 that I have, renamed it to the name of the song that I wanna replace and then saved that same song again but as an ogg file, would it act as a solid replacement for a song in the game or is there something else that's missing?

To replace the music just replace the files. .mp3 files are the regular, normal used files (DirectX). .ogg are played only, when enabled in the RSconfig starter (SFML 1.6). Leave the .ogg files how they are (or even delete) when you never had problems with RS.
