I am rather new to the game, so maybe I will get used to this eventually, but the fact that actors teleport from one square to another between turns can occasionally be difficult to follow, especially if there are many actors on the screen at one time. In my mind, it would be much easier to follow the action if each actor would slide from their original position to their target position each time they move. This way you can see clearly which actor moved where.
Some newer roguelikes, such as "100 Rogues" for iOS, show animations when the characters move around the screen, and it really helps to give the player a better understanding of what is happening in the game.
I realize that almost all roguelikes have very simple graphics, in many cases just ASCII, and that the actors will typically "teleport" between turn transitions. Still, I'd like to add this request in case it's a possibility to add smooth transitions for future versions of RS.
