Hello!
After about a 2 days or so (I have experienced this many times, not just after 2 days, but sometimes it can be after 6 or 7 and then BOOM!) into the game I experience a bug of some sort where no one does any damage. The only way I can die is to commit suicide.
Guns jam, melee weapons break on impact, and I can literally hold down the wait button for an infinite amount of time while engaged in combat and my health never goes down - neither can theirs.
In other words, ingame it just says that "so and so misses so and so", alas commencing invincibility for all NPCs and the player. This doesn't happen all the time but it happens too occasionally. When the bug initializes it breaks the game completely.
Just thought I should let anyone know and see if others are experiencing the same. If there is an easy fix that I don't know about, please specify. Thanks for any input given!

Do you use a mod? If the bug happens again, can you save the game and send the file to me?

I only modded some of the image files to give gas masks to the CHAR and army - other than the edited sprites nothing else is modded.
And I will save the next game that breaks and send it to you. Thanks for your help!

Exact same problem for me. Also, whenever I level the only thing I can pick is agile. Saving and then loading seem to fix the problem for me.

Looked into the save and didn't have the bug.
Sounds like the random number generator is going crazy for some players and keeps rolling 0.
People having this problem can you try these steps: 1. Make sure you install the correct version of .NET -- if you already did or the bug happens again: 2. Disable "Synchronous Simulation" for your next games.
Tell me if disabling the option seems to fix the problem.

I did this:
1. Disabled sync sim off and played a few rounds without problem 2. Turned it back on and problem appeared after 3 days on my first round
I haven't touched my .NET version and have no idea which one is installed.

Also, on a completely different note that has nothing to do with this, i wanted to know something without making yet another thread. Is there any way possible to have unlimited reincarnations? It drives me crazy that the max is 7. I don't seem to see any way to cheat in the game other than making the difficulty extremely easy. I'm not trying to ruin the game for myself, I just want to play it a different way sometimes.

I actually did run into this bug as well. I was playing as a zombie and could not damage survivors and they could not hurt me

Just run around like you char has ADHD and you will get the bug pretty fast.
It also effect the levelup as you can then only pick "agile" and if you suicide and start a new game you will only get "gen" areas on the map with one "bus" top left every time along with tons of Exit's allover the district maps when you play.
Save and reloading will fix the bug tho (that's why you can't see the bug in the save).

Found the cause of the bug and hopefully the fix. In the meantime disable "Synchronous Simulation" if the bugs happens often for you. What? This didn't answer any of those questions There has to be a bit of a challenge, a handful of reincarnations should be enough to explore the game with various characters. If you can't, try harder next game

I am glad for this fix, as I was afflicted by said bug every time I played for the past four occasions. (Unlucky I guess) I will try disabling the Simulation Synch in the meantime and that should suit me for now. Ah, I also had an issue with moving mouse over things, the info box refused to come up except on very specific pixels and it made checking objects very hard, anyone else had that problem?

I got that problem after the damage bug had enacted. reloading fixes the "hitboxes" on tooltips to normal.

6.3 is supposed to fix the "everyone misses/AGILE only" bug. Can you guys confirm this?
