With the introduction of Corpses in Alpha 7(atleast in C&I), Things have taken a turn for the better, it has added a Aura of distrust and paranoia, where every body you come across could be a potential zombie just waiting for you to get close, but however, i find them lacking in a few things, i'll list them here :
1.Burning Stacks of Bodies : Personally, it's a pain in the ass to butcher corpses one by one, you could possibly construct a bonfire to burn a pile of bodies, it would take one/two Wooden Planks and a burning car to stick the planks in
2.Zombies leave corpses, to rise again : Zombie Corpses during the previous games have just simply clogged up the game, they were removed in 7, but i had a Idea : When killed, a Zombie MIGHT leave behind a corpse that will rise after a while, for me, killing a horde is unexciting, Killing a horde, then seeing the horde rise up again feels as if the situation is indeed hopeless, that they never die, however, to balance it : Zombies that rise after death have 1/3 of their health, and zombies can only rise a maximum of once(Or you could add a setting stating how many times a zombie may rise)
3.The Living can Cannibalize Corpses....At a Cost(Possibly) : Have you ever walked around looking for a grocery store, and see all these bodies about and wish you could turn them into food?, well, this suggestion attempts to add that to the game, Livings can eat the bodies of their fellow men, but : If a Corpse is Infected, the Cannibal will get a certain amount of Infection points depending on how infected the body is, however, even uninfected corpses may be deadly : Eating Corpses gives the Cannibal a Stamina Loss, do you eat the body, or leave it alone hoping for more conventional consumables? Make a Wise choice
I have more suggestions, but i'll just leave these here for some time to see if you guys support them

You will be able to put stuff on fire, including stack of corpses (one of the reasons why you can drag them).

Eating a corpse could, for example, cause some pretty severe distrust due to the zombie like nature of cannibalism.

Distrust? as in?
A)Decreased Chance of Trade and recruitment? B)% chance of random survivors shooting at you? C)Cosmetical Effect? D)Survivors giving you misinformation because they don't like you?

A, B, Eventually possibly C, and D. Basically, it should be a viable but generally disgusting notion. Note that cannibalism has been known to cause several very visible disorders such as shaky hands (I was impressed to see the Kuru disease shown in the Book of Eli) and tends toward giving the applicable diseases from the dead when eaten raw and cannibalism is especially damagingly for different reasons when done with a rotten corpse. Socially speaking, a cannibalistic human is in essence a volunteer zombie. People would rather see you dead if they catch you eating human flesh. This is also why infection level of the dead carrying over would be a good deterrent along with the potential for the Kuru disease becoming a dead giveaway to other survivors.

Make a Wise choice YesssssThis is an awesome idea, and fits right into the tone of Rogue Survivor I think. And now there'd be even more incentive to take the "Unsuspecting" skill. Perhaps though, "Cannibal" should be its own skill? I could see some issues in gameplay arising if every hungry survivor chowed down on a corpse when they were starving. Though that would add a further element of intensity, if hungry civilians with the cannibal skill automatically "suspected" any living person as carrying food, and would attempt to kill and cannibalize them. The skill could be something like, "+n health recovered from cannibalism, +m% infection from corpse" And as you gain more points, you get more health returned (maybe the upper limit being what an undead gets in 1 bite?), and build a tolerance towards infection? Or maybe instead of tolerance, think of it as, you know which parts taste best and get infected the least. You could even have a new marauding group as doomsday cannibal cultists... Damn, starting to tangent now, sorry. But this is an awesome idea!

Okay, ideas. A skill would indeed be NEEDED to accentuate this feature, but it should be possible for anyone to do it. It's just getting the boost helps the effects. Also, for a person to move toward cannibalism of another human (Without the randomly chosen perk) might only work in cases with VERY extreme hunger and in certain specific circumstances, like if said NPC has already committed a murder, then they may be eligible to kill again to eat someone, otherwise they may just eat the already dead. (Also, I make a plug here for expanded options on this aspect because I see value in turning cannibalistic NPC's on and off) Okay, also, gameplay suggestion, pressing "C" with the cursor over a corpse on the ground or in your possession would cannibalize it. Also, characters confessing to cannibalism AND murder would make sense. I stand by my suggestions of signs and such of cannibals, and definitely think the Unsuspecting Skill could also be used to cover or reduce the effects of cannibalism in a social context so that it has more use.

Personally, Distrust shouldn't happen unless someone sees you do it and gets far away enough that they can tell someone else, It would make no sense for the crowd of survivors two square-foot away to know that a certain person cannibalized a dead human, even though not a survivor, Half-alive survivor or About-to-die saw him/her do the act
So really, people would only know you cannibalized someone if somebody sees you eat the corpse and you let him get away(Witness gets far enough) or Actors with a Radio(In-character radios, like the Cop radios and Military Radios, hell, cellphones probably work) see you do it, they do not need to get far off, they just need to see you cannibalize a body, boom, the entire town knows
Or, You could give the Psychic Cops another Entrance, Hell, if they could tell a murderer the moment they see them, they should be able to spot a Cannibal when they are seen
